Trends I love: Feelin’ peachy!

Sometimes I don’t realize how much I love something until I look on my Pinterest boards and am like ‘wow, I guess I am really into x lately’ and sometimes I love a trend or look so much that I just need to talk about it! Lately I have been feelin’ just peachy about rooms, mainly kitchens and baths, that have been incorporating a lot pinks, corals, citrus cues and peaches (sometimes literally!) I feel like millennial pink has been doing some growing up and I’m kind of here for this glow-up.

I’m dying to do my own room makeovers someday, hopefully soon but for now I’m scheming and dreaming via Pinterest!

The Magic of Paint

I’m sharing some of my favorite pins lately, incidentally it’s mostly been kitchens and baths. I’ve seen some cool peach elements incorporated in bedrooms and living spaces but for some reason I am more drawn to kitchens and baths when I think about incorporating pinks and peaches. I think I just love the huge impact and lean more towards maximalism in public spaces and I am more of a minimalist when it comes to bedrooms.

One of my favorite pins lately, from SwoonWorthy - Paint color is a custom mixed paint from UK brand Duluth called Peachy Keen. I love the idea of using a hue like this minimally or in a bathroom space like this.

Sometimes it doesn’t take much, this basement makeover by Autumn Hachey uses this pop of peach above the sink and I’m here for it. Paint is Behr Fruit Salad

I am, like, suuuuuper into the idea of painting cabinets lately and love the impact they can have without doing much work. I love Elsie’s coffee bar (Behr Smoke Bush Rose) and statement tile! Image via A Beautiful Mess

Fun Elements

Sometimes painting can be a much. I’ll admit it’s definitely not one of my favorite things to do although I love the outcome. It’s the prep and cleanup that are a bit much for me. I love how adding some fun elements like a fun wallpaper, curtain, or rugs can add a lot of personality.
